Since my recovery from the traumatic brain injury I suffered after being hit head-on by a drunk driver in a high speed collision,
I’ve been fascinated with how our bodies are designed to heal.
So I went back to school (yet again) and took a deep dive into biochemistry

What does a functional blood chemistry analyst do?
I do a deep dive into your lab work, especially if it’s “normal” but you still feel unwell…
To figure out what is really going on inside your body.
It’s not just the individual numbers themselves
It’s the ratios and patterns
that tell us what parts of your body are having to work overtime and may need some support
or the systems that aren’t functioning optimally.
It’s amazing what you can learn about your own body…
For example,
Did you know that your liver is responsible for processing the things you SMELL?
So if you are sensitive to fragrances and the laundry detergent aisle makes you go insane,
It could be the way your liver is processing it!
Or coffee in the evening has no effect on you?
That’s a classic sign that your liver is overactive in it’s first phase of detoxification!

I’m ecstatic to have been able to bring this new level of support into my practice!
