It’s amazing what you can learn about your own body

Since my recovery from the traumatic brain injury I suffered after being hit head-on by a drunk driver in a high speed collision,

I’ve been fascinated with how our bodies are designed to heal.

β£πŸ€“So I went back to school (yet again) and took a deep dive into biochemistry

⁣What does a functional blood chemistry analyst do?

⁣I do a deep dive into your lab work, especially if it’s β€œnormal” but you still feel unwell…

⁣To figure out what is really going on inside your body.

⁣It’s not just the individual numbers themselves

⁣It’s the ratios and patterns

⁣that tell us what parts of your body are having to work overtime and may need some support

⁣or the systems that aren’t functioning optimally.

⁣It’s amazing what you can learn about your own body…

⁣For example,

Did you know that your liver is responsible for processing the things you SMELL?

⁣So if you are sensitive to fragrances and the laundry detergent aisle makes you go insane,

It could be the way your liver is processing it!

⁣Or coffee in the evening has no effect on you?

⁣That’s a classic sign that your liver is overactive in it’s first phase of detoxification!

⁣I’m ecstatic to have been able to bring this new level of support into my practice!
